In accordance with the Honourable the Colo-

nial Secretary's minute of the 27th.. instant, I have the ho-

nour to make the following report:-

My case, owing to my compulsory retirement on

pension and my subsequent re-call to uuty after the lapse

of two years and one month during which I had considered

yself severed from the Government, is a peculiar one, and as

far as I can see there is nothing in the Ordinance that

would govern such a case.

on y re-instatement in the Government service in y former

position on the 2n. instant, I an by the rules of the servic

entitled to all my former privileges as to service &c.

though no break in my service had occurred, and I now wish

to be re-instated with reference to Widows'and Orphans' Pen

sions Funa in a similar manner.

There is no provision ace in the Ordinance
